The fabrics proposed here show you that almost everything is possible for your made-to-measure corset. Let your imagination go, don't be shy and create something very personal!

I don't stock permanently all those fabrics, but those I don't stock, I can search for them or their equivalent for you. And I can search for others fabrics too, if you indicate me the texture and colors you want. So everything you can see here must not be taken as a limited list of what is available, but as a basis for your creativity.

Satin

Basic price

Satin is a soft and shiny fabric, very pleasant to the touch. It?s a great classic, available in a broad choice of colors (ask me if you want a specific nuance), which goes as well with the bridal corsets as with the gothic, and adapts to all forms and all trimmings. It can be used as an outer fabric and/or as an inside lining.

Here is a rather complete sample of the existing plain colors; but if you want a printed pattern, the choice is far too broad to be mentioned here... Don?t hesitate to tell me everything about your desires (dominant colour, type of drawing...) and I will endeavour to find fabrics able to satisfy you! Some examples of printed patterns, among so many others, follow the samples.

Taffeta

This beautiful fabric is discreetly brilliant and very changing under the lights. Quite thick and solid in spite of its refined aspect, it is perfectly appropriate for corsetery. It is one of my preferred fabrics!

Batik

The batik is a kind of "tie and dye" cotton fabric. Multicoloured and rich of nuances, it is really beautiful... a really fairy fabric ! And I am to my knowledge the only one corsetmaker to propose this type of fabric on a corset. Just what you need to underline your originality!

Toile de Jouy and Denim

The toile de Jouy is a thick cotton fabric which was created during the eighteenth century in the manufactures of Jouy-en-Josas ( France ) and became immediately a ?must have?. The ?Indiennes? (printed calico) are made following the same process, but in a more coloured version, with very rich patterns. Today used especially in furnishing, the toile de Jouy can give a delicious retro and ?period? look to a Marie-Antoinette corset. But you can also have fun by using it on another type of corset!

The denim is the strong blue cotton used for the jeans, in a little less thick version nevertheless! Original and gorgeous on a fashion waist-cincher or an underbust victorian, for example.
