You decided which
model you like (in Choose you
style!),
in which fabric, and which trimmings you will possibly add (in Fabric and
trimmings)...
Now you just have to take your measurements so that I can create for
you an absolutely single pattern!
Follow
the guide... All measurements are to be
taken with a flexible tape measure, not too tight (it is not the moment
to cheat!), but not too loose too! The ideal is to get someone to help
you.
If
you are alone to take your measurements, don't panic, it is very feasible! Stand up straight, if possible in
front of a mirror to check that the tape measure remains quite
horizontal even in the back, and take your measures directly on your
naked skin. Only exception: for the corsets covering the breast, it is
preferable to take the measures 1 to 3 while wearing a good bra (the
level of your nipple is then higher than when naked, therefore nearer
to the corset effect)..

measurement, very important for the overbust corsets, is not necessary
for the underbusts.
Place one hand
over breast and press in and up to simulate desired cleavage. Measure
straight up from waist to your nipple (someone?s help is very welcome
!). Normally this will be about 1"-2" longer than waist to nipple in a
well fitting bra
| 9. Waist
to
corset top : ____
| Measure
from your center front waist to where you desire the top center front
of the corset. Refer
to photo of the corset as a guideline
| 10. Waist
to
corset bottom : ____
| While
being seated, measure from waist to lowest center front point,
approximately to the top of pubic bone. Make sure you can sit down as
the busk is straight and will not bend. If you have a tummy pooch,
press firmly with flat of hand to measure flattened tummy, do not
measure around the curve of the pooch. 6" is average for
females, 4" is average for males
| 11. Waist
to hip
bone : ____
| Vertically from waist to the
low hip measurement (n°6). The corset can?t go down under this bone, or
you won?t be able to sit!

side
length of the corset : ____

the length on your side, from underarm (approximately 3-4 cm (1.5 inch)
below armpit, or you will be constrained) for the overbust corsets, or
from the top level wished for the underbust corsets, to the length

Shopping and handling fees have to be added to the price of the corset
itself: generally, 8 euros for France, 12 for Europe, and 15 for
oversees (USA, Canada, China, Australia...) The paiement
can either be made
entirely when ordering, or a first half when ordering and the second
half when the corset is completed and I send you by e-mail the pictures
of it before sending it to you by Post.
I begin working on
the corset
when I have every elements in hand (fabrics, your measures, and at
least the beginning of the payment). Time of completion will vary
between 3 to 5 weeks depending on the
season.
Shipping will take from 2 days (Colissimo to France) to 1-2 weeks (to
United States for example). Rush jobs will be considered in order to
meet with wedding dates, anniversaries, special occasions, etc. A rush
fee of 10% will be added to the total for a corset made in 1 week.
