Cup-corset The
corset is thus easier to wear than an overbust Victorian (it does not
compress breast), and offers the aspect of a long-line bra or basque
bodice, while giving the true waist reduction of a corset. For the brides,
for example, it is an ideal choice: it’s a real corset but won’t seem
a bit odd or attract unpleasant criticism from too conventional-minded
people, because of its rather “classical bustier” aspect! But it can
be worn in a more provocative or “lingerie” spirit…
